Shipping Information

WE ARE NOW IN OUR MAIN SEASON - EXPECT SHIPPING TO BE ABOUT 10 BUSINESS DAYS FOR US TO PROCESS AND GET YOUR ORDER OUT. - 

We will not respond to messages asking when your order will ship if its been less than this.. Tracking will be sent via email the day your order leaves. If you send a nasty message and do not follow our info we will just cancel your order.... Just saying.
PLEASE CHECK OUR FACEBOOK PAGE for any shipping updates before sending message if you feel its taking longer than usual to get your order shipped. FaceBook is best way to contact should you need us.
We do our  best to ship quickly - Please plan to allow about 2-10 business days to gather and ship - Usually its within a day depending on the day of the week you order. - Larger order usually take longer than single items (MAIN SPRING SEASON WILL BE LONGER)

We also have 2 properties we have to gather plants on so this also effects our time in gathering to ship. Again we ship as fast as we can as we just love sending them to their new homes to your care. 

If there is coming up or was previous a recent holiday = That will definitely delay shipping and back us up some. - So around holidays expect longer wait times. 

Should we have any bulk delays for weather or any other situation = We will post it on our Facebook page... It is important to look there before sending any messages.... We suggest messages be sent on FB vs Email... (too much spam on email so we miss them at times)

 We print out your order and start processing it when it is placed, so if you would like to cancel your order for any reason, then you will have a 30% restocking fee deducted from your refund. Orders start processing once they are paid for, plus the time of listing the item and updating is very time consuming.. I am very sorry, but it does get too confusing 

You will receive an email of your tracking number - be sure to check your spam folder often - Just in case it goes there.
If your tracking number does not show its been scanned after 5 days then please send us an email. - If its been in transit and is lost in route - then also bring it to our attention. - We ship UPS & USPS priority mail = 1 - 3 days but figure extra day depending on weather in travel on route to you or just minor delay - should it take longer then please notify us - Since Covid - most delivery may take longer and there is no warrantee on delayed orders in transit 

If your order arrives with major damage
The post office will not cover perishable items for transit... If you feel the post office did you wrong.. you need to file a claim with them... They are telling us they require you to bring in the package and contents to show them - Delay or damage...
We no longer add add'l insurance to packages... all packages are default insured to 50.00 - We have been denied countlessly for slow mail and damage boxes... (consider we have VERY small (less than 1%) of claims we have had to file) - I will try to post up the latest letter you can take to them if you need to go to your usps office....

ALL ORDERS SHIP AT YOUR RISK. We have nursery pick up available. 

All our items are set by weight. so your shipping costs should calculate pretty close - If it is way off we will send refund back to your acct.

www.farmerjoeplantswholesale.com - This site is for our little starters. - Its open for anyone to purchase. - Growers can send over copy of Dept of Agriculture lic for discount code - See website for more info
all or most starters on that site are sold in lots of 5 starts
www.farmerjoeplants.com - This is for items maybe not yet available on TPW website but are growing - you order here and we have ship time frame when they will be ready for shipping... Its like a reservation for you plants... Great for those of you in the north that want to reserve bedding plants for spring... however as the site grows we will add indoor type plants that are in production.
www.justbegonias.com is our begonia's, Peperomia's, Violets, & similar items... This website is more active from mid oct - Mid may as many of these do not like shipping during time of extreme heat.

All of our Websites are always under construction. We do our best to update the other such pages vs just the shopping page but it takes time.
